La Renacida

  1. A very special estate wine

Mainly Tempranillo, Grenache Tinta, Grenache Tintorera, Grenache Gris, Mencía, Albillo Mayor and Verdejo, which are present in the same vineyard as it is old.

On arrival at the winery, the grapes pass through the sorting table to select the best berries. The entire plot is produced, vinifying all its varieties together to reflect the uniqueness of the vineyard and also to benefit from the freshness provided by the white varieties. Alcoholic fermentation is carried out exclusively with indigenous yeasts, and with a low pump-over regime, we aim for a low extraction of uncrushed, but destemmed grapes. Malolactic fermentation and subsequent ageing with its lees is carried out for 12 months in a French oak foudre.

Cherry red, pale. The nose is intense, complex and delicate. Red fruits, floral notes and notes of orange peel are noticeable. Soil elements (damp earth and chalk) appear on a second level. It is large but agile in the mouth, with a lot of freshness and good acidity. Round, subtle and delicate, with low tannin intensity. The notes of red fruits and minerals return in the aftertaste.

An ideal wine to drink on its own with a cheese plate

16º to keep it fresh.
