R&D PROJECTS IN SMEs

 

The project "New methods of aroma recovery and extraction of chromatic substances in red and rosé wines" (file number 04/18/VA/0018), with the main objective of developing techniques to enhance the chromatic and aromatic nuances in rosé wines and red wines, has been financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Junta de Castilla y León, through the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (ICE), with the aim of promoting the Impulse and promotion of R&I activities led by companies and support for the creation and consolidation of innovative companies.

The Finca Museum project, titled 'Research into Mitigating the Effects of Climate Change on the Production of Rosé and Red Wines from Local Grapes Using Microorganisms' (File No. 04/18/VA/0214), aims to define and develop strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change on the production of rosé and red wines from local grapes. To this end, work is being carried out on searching for microorganisms that can enhance their qualities, as well as determining techniques to identify the stage of calcium creation and its potential elimination.

The project has received funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and the Regional Government of Castile and León, via the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castile and León (ICECYL). The aim is to promote research, technological development and innovation.
